The Details
Date: July 13, 2024
Location: Chastain Park Golf Course (216 Chastain Park Ave NW, Atlanta, GA 30342)
Timing:
- 8:00 AM – Check-in / Announcements
- 8:30 AM – Tee Time (Shotgun Start)
How it Works
Scramble Format / Stroke Play: The team picks the best ball and plays all their shots from that spot. For shots off the green, each player must play within a club length of where the ball came to rest. For shots on the green, each player must play within a putter’s head of where the ball came to rest. Lowest score wins.
Team Assignments: All players sign up individually and are part of the player pool. Then, players will be assigned teams based on the individuals' golf skill level and social circle. This team assignment strategy gives every team a shot at winning the tournament, guarantees you will be playing with at least one person you know and allows players to meet new friends!
Tee Boxes: All players must play from the Blue Tees (tips)
Longest Drive: Hole 1
Closest to the Pin: Hole 11
Scorecard Submission: Please submit the scorecard in Pro Shop immediately after completion. Please wait around the clubhouse until all the teams finish to see if your team wins!
Prizes: Winning team will receive custom MCI Champion towels and bragging rights. Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin will also receive prizes.
Tiebreaker: In the event of a tie, there will be a putt off at the clubhouse practice greens. Each team will select 1 player to putt and coin flip to decide who putts first. The second player putting is NOT allowed to watch the first player putting, but teammates can watch.
During the Round
Donation/Drink Tents: There will be two tents on the course located on #1 and #11 tee boxes. Please donate (via cash or Venmo) in exchange for drinks and snacks! Shoutout to all the volunteers working the tents!
50/50 Raffle: CYou will be able to buy 50/50 raffle tickets at the Tents on the course. The winner will be announced at the After Party (must be present) and receive 50% of the funds raised from the 50/50 raffle.
After Party Info
After Party Location: The Ivy Buckhead - Sky Deck Patio and Upstairs Main Bar (3717 Roswell Rd, Atlanta, GA 30342)
After Party Schedule:
- 1:00 PM – Sky Deck Patio and Upstairs Main Bar open for after party.
- 3:00 PM – Award presentation, raffles, and donation announcements.
Food / Drink Info:
- Food will be provided: Cheeseburger Slider, BBQ Pork Slider, Chicken Finger, Quesadilla and Caesar Salad platters will be provided and available. Can also purchase own food separately from the kitchen.
- Drinks must be purchased on own individual tabs at the bar.
